Hello,

IAS and IPS are different branches of civil services. The officers for both the services are recruited through same exam (CSE) by UPSC. IAS is more generalist and IPS is specialist. Both IAS and IPS are All India Services.

Ips exam stands for indian police serives.

Both exan are conducted by upsc,

they have eligibility critreia.

They have same age limit.

But they have differnt post.

Theser two post are valuaable post.

you want to join either ias/ips , you have cse exam.
