It is true that IFS exam is civil services which is conducted by UPSC every year.
IFS exam consist Preliminary exam From this year.
IFS exam pattern;-
Preliminary exam, Mains exam and Interview.

To become IFS Officer, one has to give the Civil services exam conducted by UPSC.
From 2013, this change was made.
Eligibility conditions remain same as like the civil services exam.
Candidate must possess a valid degree from recognized University.
Candidate must have attained 21 years of age and must not have attained 30 years of age for general category candidates.
There is Upper age relaxation as follows for reserved category candidates.
The maximum age limit is 33 years for OBC Category.
The maximum age limit is 35 years for SC/ST Category.

yes, this year IFS Prelims will be conducted through Civil Services Prelims Exam. But IFS Mains Exam and then Interview will be conducted separately from Civil Services.
IFS stands For Indian Forest Services Exam.The Exam is conducted by UPSC every year. Through IFS exam you will get the jobs related to Forest Department.
Eligibility Criteria for IFS Exam:
>>you must hold a Bachelor�s degree with at least one of the subjects Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology,Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from recognized college or university.
>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Yes... from this year IFS is also included in UPSC Exam...but there's one difference .. and that is Prelims paper is common for both... but there's a seperate MAINS exams for IFS and Seperate for IAS/IRS/IPS etc.

This exam is conduct for recruiting the candidate of forest officer through Indian Forest Service exam .

IFoS is actually a separate service than Civil service.But from this year,the prelims for both the exams will be same.The Mains and Interview as well as posting will be separate.You can check about the details on the notification of this year of Civil services exam on UPSC website.The exam is conducted by UPSC but the procedures are separate.

YES IFS IS ALSO CONDUCTED UNDER CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION.
IFS is conducted under the name of civil service examination where other exams like IAS,IPS,IRS are conducted.
The exam is conducted in three parts
1)Preliminary Exam
2)Mains Exam
3)Interview
The preliminary exam is a same for all other exam like IAS,IPS,but the mains question papers is different for all other exam.

Definitely there is a part of Indian Forest Service in the civil service examination because the preliminary examination of civil service exam is also the prelims of forest service examination means if you want to apply for Indian Forest Service examination then you need to qualify civil service preliminary examination first that contains 2 papers in objective type pattern and each paper contains 200 marks and if you could not qualify civil service prelims examination then you will not be considered eligible for mains examination of Indian Forest service that is why you should understand it positive relation because prelims is mandatory to eliminate some candidates and find out some best candidates for Indian Forest Service Examination
Mains examination of Indian Forest service will be conducted only in English Medium and there will be following papers conducted in this section only in conventional type pattern
Paper I - General Knowledge - 300 marks
Paper II - General English - 300 marks
Paper III, IV, V and VI - Any two optional subjects chosen by the candidate according to the rules in the selection of optional subjects
