It is nice that you want to join IPS exam. IPS exam stands for Indian Forest services which is conducted by UPSC.

To Become IPS officer;-

>>You must be passed a graduation degree from a recognized university. Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.

>>Your age should be between 21-30 years.

>>You must be Indian citizen.

You must full-fill the following Physical Eligibility;-

HEIGHT - General/OBC Male-165cm and Female - 150cm

while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm.

CHEST - Male-84cm while Female-79cm

expandable to 5cm in both the cases.

>>You have to clear following exam;-

Preliminary exam

Mains exam

After clearing These two exam,you will be called for Interview.
