you can become crime branch officer after engineering.

just follow these steps;-

1-take civil services exam which;-join Indian police services is conducted by upsc,

2-by joining state police, if you are in state police, after some years of experience and work aspects, you can be deputed in IB, CID or crime branch.

3-By joining armed forces: sometimes, the officers are also taken from indian army as per their knowledge, experience and security services work. you can get into that also!
