Well friend, you see UPSC examination is conducted by Union public service Commission, which takes all exams for central government.

Civil services examination is conducted for :

>> IFS

>> IFS

>> IRS

>> IPS

>> IPS

>> Allied etc

** you will see above i wrote twice IFS, IPS... it represents two different services,,, so dont get confused.
