you are eligible for the same if you are a graduate and lies in
between the both eligibility and the age criteria both.
Eligibility criteria:-
1. you must be an indian
2. and the minimum educational qualification required for the
same is graduation from a govt. recognized university.
Age criteria:-
for generals:- 21-30 yrs.
for obc :- 21-33 yrs.
for sc/st:- 21-35 yrs.
No of attempts:-
for generals:-4 attempts.
for obc:-7attempts
for sc/st :- no any restriction.
and yes remember one thing ,
as you are a central govt. employee than there is an age relaxation for you also of five years.
so you have enough time to prepare for it .

Yes, you can surely appear for the examination of IAS of the UPSC. But you must keep your eye on the age limit. The age limit is 21-30years and the upper age limit is 03years for OBC and 05years for SC/ST candidates. If you fulfill the age limit criteria, then you must appear for the examination. Thanks...

And you have to work very much hard for the exam
Education Qualification:
The candidate should be pass in graduation
Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam
Age:
The age of the candidate should be between 21-30
Also their is age relaxation of 3 years and ph 10 years
For the sc,st candidates age limit is 5 years
Attempts:
For the general 4
For the obc 7
And for the sc,st their is restriction
