    Any graduate can apply for UPSC IAS examination.
    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
    --Candidate must be a degree holder.
    --Candidate who is in final year of graduation can also apply for this examination.
    --Candidates who have done their graduation from technical or professional field are also eligible to appear in the exam.
    --Only passing mark is required for this exam.

    --Age limit is 21 to 30 years. For SC/ST candidates 5 years & for O.B.C. 3 years of relaxation is available.

    >> The essential educational qualifications expected by the UPSC from an IAS aspirant,are mentioned below ::
    # You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent from any recognized university.
    # You must score the passing percentage in aggregate.
    # The final year students may also apply for the exam.
    # Irrespective of any Bias,you can complete your Graduation from any stream.


    >> It is the Civil Services Exams which are conducted by the UPSC for the posts of an IAS,IPS,etc !!
    >>
    The application forms of these exams are released by the first week of February and the last date to apply is in about the first week of March.
    >> While the Preliminary exams take place in MAY,the Mains exams supposedly take place in October & November.

    # The other criterias that you must satisfy in order to be eligible for the Civil Services Exams are mentioned below ::
    => NATIONALITY.
    You must be a citizen of India,
    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or, You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.

    => AGE LIMITS.
    You must not be less than 21 years of age and more than 30 years of age as on the 1st of August,in which the exam is conducted.
    The age limit is however relaxable according to Government norms.

    => IRRESPECTIVE OF SEX,BOTH MALE AND FEMALE CANDIDATES CAN APPEAR FOR THE EXAM.

    => YOU MUST MEET THE MEDICAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF AN IAS OFFICER.

    dear friend,

    Educational Qualification :
    for UPSC IAS(Indian Administrative Services) you need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation in any field with any percentage from recognized college or university.

    Age Limit:
    and your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

    upsc civil services examination is top most examination conducted by upsc.
    clearing this examination is really a tough nut to crack.

    the educational requirement for this examination is
    graduation in any stream form a recognized university.
    it can BA BSC BCA BBA B.TECH etc all are applicable for the upsc civil services examinations.

    the civil services exam is conducted in two stages .
    PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
    MAINS EXAMINATION


    notification for the upsc civil services examination
    is released in the month of feb/march.
    The PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION is held in the month of MAY .
    The MAINS EXAMINATION is held in the month of OCTUBER according to the subjects selected by the candidates.

    age criteria for this exam is
    21-30 years for the general category
    21-33 years for the OBC category
    21-35 years for the SC/ST category


    Number of attempts
    4 attempts for general category
    7 attempts for OBC category
    no limit for SC/ST category

    you can not fill the form for this years upsc civil services examination.
    but for the next years upsc civil services examination you can apply as
    the notification for this examination will be released on 2nd FEB 2013.

    To become a IAS officer,
    You must be graduate from a recognized university in any stream.
    Final year student are also eligible.
    Age limit is 21 to 30 years for general student.
    21 to 33 years for obc
    21 to 35 years for sc/st
    You must be indian citizen.

    the qualification is required for the civil service exam is candidate must have graduate in any stream from the approved university.

    the percentage of the marks is no matter for the exam and higher qualification is also no matter for the exam.

    the age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years.

    the age relaxation for the reserve category.

    for sc/st category is the 5 years and no limit for the exam.

    for obc category the age limit is the 3 years and attempt of the exam is the 7 times.

    the attempt of the exam is for general category is 4 times

    the notification of the exam 2013 may be published in the month of january.

    the preliminary exam is held in the month of the May.

    mains exam held in the month of the October.

    Hi Aspirant

    IAS : Stands for the Indian Administrative Services

    The exam for this post and also for the IPS is conducted

    By the upsc department every year and for the exam

    You have to clear the three stages with good marks

    First stage is the pre exam and than

    The next and most difficult stage the Mains exam

    For the Mains you need to study at least 15 hours a day

    And than the final stage the Final Interview

    Qualifications Required for the exam:

    >> The Candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized Indian University

    >> The Candidate or either pass in any equivalent degree to the graduation

    >> The Candidate of the final year of degree are also allowed for the exam

    >> The Age of the Candidate must be 21 to 30

    >> The age of the obc candidate must be 21 to 33

    >> The age of the sc,st candidate must be 21 to 35

    >> The Obc Candidate have given 7 attempts

    >> The sc,st candidates have no limit means unlimited attempts allowed

    >> The general candidates have given 4 attempts
