What is the Eligibility criteria in Terms of Physical Fitness for appearing in CDSE exam after Graduation?

My right eye sight is weak (-2.5) but my left eye sight is normal.
I have a querry that am I eligible for CDSE exam after graduation?

Min physical standards required:
Height � Male 165 cm
Female 150 cm
Eye sight � 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye
Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity.
Nasal- candidate should not stammer while speaking.
Presence of Squint is a disqualification

hai friend ,

physical fitness :
running 2.5km in 15 minutes
situps,pullups,pushups 20 each
rope climbing upto 3-4 meters high
other than these the eyesight should 6\6 and i think the defect of yours is peculiar regarding the left and right as the medical review board may take it as cause for rejection during their testing procedure . if you pass also in AIR ranking you maybe ranked below others .
but thats not a problem you can still verify it by consulting a army doctor who lives in your locality for futher testing and all other tests

CDSE stands for Combined Defence services examination.

It is conducted by UPSC twice every year.

Eligibility criteria:

>>Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

>>Final year candidates are also eligible for this examination.

>>Age :

IMA:19-24 years

INA:19-22 years

OTA : 19-25 years.


Nationality: Indian.
