Age Limitation: Candidate should be between 21-30 years
Age relaxation for:
SC/ST 5 years
OBC 3 years
State of Jammu and Cashmir 5 years
Defence Services Personnel 5 years
Ex-Servicemen 5 years
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized universitity
Numbers of Attempts:
For General Candidate 4 Attempts
For OBC Candidate 7 Attempts

Examination Schedule:
It consists of main exam Written test and interview.
The main examination comprises of Nine papers.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative services.
The essential qualification that you need to become IAS officer are:
First of all,you need to have complete your graduation from a recognised university in any discipline .
After that you must satisfy age criteria that is age between 21-30 years.
You must be an Indian Citizen.
After satisfying all these criteria ,you need to appear for the civil services examinations which consists of three stages:
1.civil service aptitude test
2.Main examination
3.Personal interview .
When you clear all these hurdles ,you will become a successful IAS officer.
Note : There are certain limitations to appear for the exam.It depends upon the catgeory to which you belong:
General:4
OBC:7
SC/ST:no limit ,they can appear as no of times during their age limit.

Civil service exam:-
the qualification required for the upsc civil service exam is the graduation in any stream from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet. the percentage of the marks is no matter for the exam.
Cds exam:-
the qualification is required for the cds exam is different-2 is like as:-
for the indian military academy graduation in any stream form the recognized university.
for the officer training academy graduation in any stream form the recognized university.
for the indian air force graduation in science stream form the recognized university.
for the naval graduation in science stream form the recognized university.
IES exam:-
graduation in engineering from recognized university.
NDA & SCRA:-
candidate passed the secondary class with science subject

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years
Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates
