The following are the essential qualification for upsc exam :
a) Educational Qualification : Any Degree from a recognized University
b) age limit: for BC & MBC- 21 to 33
SC , ST - 21 to 35
OC -21 to 30

UPSC conducts various exams at the undergraduates & graduates level.

At the undergraduates level (i.e.12th boards pass) it conducts exams like NDA & SCRA.

At the graduates level it conducts exams like Civil Services,Engineering Services,

Combined Defence Services,Central Police Forces(Assistant Commandants) exam,etc.

The essential qualification for appearing in Graduate level exams is graduation from

a recognised UGC University.

Educational Qualification- Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University.

General category - 21-30yrs

OBC - 21-33yrs

SC/ST - 21-35yrs
