UPSC has not yet declared the official calendar for the year 2013. for combined medical services exam generally the following months are alloted
for issue of notification: march
last date to apply: April
conduct of exam: june

Eligibility Criteria:
not more than 32 years of age as on 1st january of the month in which you apply
Age relaxations applicable for OBC( 3 years) ; SC/ST ( 1 years)
Should have passed the written and practical parts of MBBS exam.
Final year students also can apply. But if they cleared written exam, then at the time of interview, they have to provide detailed application along with certificate for passing the final exams.

Age Limits:
A candidate must not have attained the age of 32 years.

Educational Qualifications:
For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.


Important Dates(Tentative):

Release of Notification: September 1st week
Last Date of submission of Application forms: October 1st week
Date of Combined Medical Service Examination: January 3rd week

UPSC has not released the notification for CMS 2013 exam. so we cant say about the exam dates. you can get the dates only after the release of notification.

UPSC release the notification in Employment newspaper or you can also check the notification after release on UPSC official website. so keep visiting the following link:

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CMS Exam:

1. you have to complete MBBS from recognized college or university.

2. You should not reach the age of 32 years on 1 January of the year of exam.
and there is upper limit relaxable upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Well mine friend, UPSC has not announced dates for 2013,

I guess they will announce in March or April of 2013, about this examination.

And i guess examination will be conducted in 3rd Week of June 2013.

Eligibility for CMS examination :

>> You must have completed your MBBS degree for it, from a recognised college , final year students are allowed

>> Your maximum mustnt exceed 32 (*special relaxations are allowed)

>> You must be Indian Citizen to attain the examination.
