Civil ServicesExamination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidatesfor the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
The Educational Qualification Required for Civil Services Exam says that:
The candidate musthold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
Final year degree students are also eligible.
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university.
You don't need to do any extra courses to be eligible for Civil Services Examination. As you can see you already satisfy this criteria since you have a degree in MBBS. Now all you need to do is apply for Civil Services Exam.
Exam Format of Civil Services Examination
The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
� Preliminary Examination� comprising 2 exams � General Studies and CSAT
� Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)

Civil service exam is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSc once in a year. IAS is one of them. IAS is stands for Indian Administrative service.
Eligibility For IAS:
1.Educational Qualification:- Graduation in any stream
2.Age Limit:- not less than 21 year & Not more than 30 year
(upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved Categories & others)
3.For IAS the candidate should be a citizen of India.
There is no percentage required & not extra course needed to apply for the exam.
After MBBS of course you can eligible for IAS. MBBS is simply known as Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of surgery & a bachelor degree holder is eligible to apply for IAS exam.
But depending on your preferences & the rank you secure , you will be allotted the IAS.
