    Hello

The minimum qualification required for applying in IAS is graduation from any stream, but the final year appearing candidates are also eligible for applying.
As MBBS is a 5 year course, then you will be eligible for applying in the 5th year which is final year of your course.

Hence you can apply for civil services when you are in 5th year of your MBBS.

Friend, as a general rule, candidate can apply for the UPSC Examination either in the final year of graduation or after completion of graduation. So you have the option either apply for the UPSC Examination either in the final year of MBBS course or after getting MBBS degree. As MBBS is 5 1/2 years degree course. So it is obvious that 5th year would be the final year of the MBBS degree. So you can apply for UPSC Examination in the 5th year of the MBBS degree course. Apart from the educational qualification, your age must be in the range of 20-30 years. However, there is age relaxation in upper age for the reserved category by 3 years for OBC category, by 5 years for Scheduled Caste & Tribe, by 10 years for Persons With Disability. You must have the citizenship of India. You must have moral character as well as not having any past criminal record.

    HI

to be eligible for civil service exam, one must completed his/her graduation from a recognized university or must be in final year of their graduation degree.

they must attain the age in between 21-30 years where as for sc/st there is 5 years of relaxation age limit and for OBC=ITS 3 YEAR ,EX-SERVICE MEN=5 YEARS

THEY must be medically fit and fine

    must be indian

***as per your profession, why can not you give cms exam i.e combined medical service as its for only MEDICAL STUDENT.so avail this opportunity and try for this exam

this exam is also a govt exam, conduct by upsc

why to compromise with the profession and subject which you have knowledge ,apply practical life.yeah you can appear for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM,but when you have option then why to look for other field

    right!!!

One can apply for it in the final year of their graduation and not before that or after you complete your graduation.

Candidates are eligible in Final year of graduation or after passing out graduation. As your final year will be 5th year so you will be eligible then.I am giving you the reason why so.The prelims takes place on May.If you qualify the prelims you will be called for Mains which will take place around December but you will be asked to submit your provisional certificate of graduation around October. So you think yourself when you will be eligible-4th year or 5th year or after passing out???

Dear basically MBBS is a four year degree course that is a professional medical bachelor's of medicine and bachelor's of science degree and according to UPSC board all those candidates who are pursuing final year of bachelor's degree or appearing for final year examination or awaited for final year result may apply for civil service preliminary examination or those who have completed bachelor's degree and no percentage marks required in bachelor's degree to apply for this examination

Your age should be between 21-30 years and if you belongs to reserved category then you will get relaxation in upper age that is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

This year UPSC has conducted civil service examination prelims at 26th May 2013 so next civil service examination notification will be published in next year around April 2014 at www.upsc.gov.in so you should not waste your time and begin your preparation and if you are pursuing final year of MBBS then complete you degree and get tension free from this course and just be concentrative for civil service examination

I have attached notification of this year civil service exam please download

    All the best

Precious in essence MBBS is a four year level system this is a healthcare college of drugs plus college associated with scientific discipline level plus in accordance with UPSC plank dozens of people that are seeking last season associated with college level and also looking to get last season exam and also awaited to get last season consequence may perhaps make an application for municipal support initial exam and also whoever has carried out college level without amount signifies required in college level eighteen, you are the following exam

Your age really should be involving 21-30 years and in the event you is part of earmarked class you will have enjoyment within upper age group which is 5 decades to get SC/ST and 3 decades to get OBC class people

This coming year UPSC provides performed municipal support exam prelims at 26th May 2013 hence next municipal support exam notification will likely be posted within batch that we get all around Apr 2014 at www.upsc.gov.in hence you must not spend your own serious amounts of start off your own preparation and if you are seeking last season associated with MBBS then entire anyone level to get anxiety free of this series plus you should be concentrative to get municipal support exam

Good friend, in general, choice can put on for your UPSC Assessment either in one more season associated with graduation and also just after finishing graduation.

So that you have the choice both use for your UPSC Assessment either in one more season associated with MBBS system and also after getting MBBS degree. When MBBS is actually 5 1/2 decades level course. And so it is obvious this fifth season will be the last season from the MBBS degree. So you can make an application for UPSC Assessment within your fifth season from the MBBS level course.

Apart from the academic training course, your real age have to be in the plethora of 20-30 years. On the other hand, there may be age group enjoyment within upper age group for your earmarked class by 36 months to get OBC class, by 5 decades to get Appointed Caste & Indigneous group, by 10 decades to get Folks With Disability. You need this citizenship associated with India. You need meaning persona and also lacking any kind of previous criminal record.
