Re: What is the good score in UPSC CSAT exam?

Every year it come 1st rank who having near to 50 to 55 percent of the total marks.

In UPSC its about percentile. rest candidates will get ranking based on first ranker.

Good score is above 50 percent of the total marks.

Note: 50 % is just the average marks reaches every year. It may varies with person to person, and year to year.

Friend, it is difficult to predict the cut off marks of the examination. The cut off marks varies from year to year. The variation in cut off marks every year is due to the following factors: # Toughness of the question paper. # Number of candidates participated. # Number of posts advertised. It is advisable to the candidate that he should try to fetch as more marks as possible so as to not to look at cut off marks. If the candidate will be able to fetch fifty percent marks in total marks, then there is bright chances of selection in upper ranking.
