Which is the most Toughest Paper among IAS and IPS?

In UPSC Civil service Preliminary exam I think paper 1 of CSAT is tougher than paper 2. And in the mains exam genaral studies pappers are the toughest. I am saying this because to score good marks in these papers one needs to study every aspect of general knowledge a lot and also needs to remember a lot of information. Best of Luck!

Every paper is as important as rest of the paper. Because failing in any one subject will ruin your dream.
So you should focus on each and every subject rather than just particular main subjects namely General Studies and Optionals.
According to me toughest paper is the Language paper because for Optionals and GS you will get tons of materials to prepare but for language paper it is hard to find reference and materials.
Most of the candidates don't give much importance to language paper and they lend on disqualified side.
though language papers are just for qualifying in nature but if you fail in this subjects than your rest of the papers will not be checked.
So you should give equal time to prepare for language paper as well.
Also give importance to essay paper.
