Dear if you become Indian Forest Service Officer then firstly you will be posted for junior grade scale then your promotion depends on your performance and work done in your area of duty and your further postings and transfers also depends on that so you should read all the mentioned grades that you will get while being promoted and each post is mentioned in stages that you will get further in your career
1. Junior Time Scale
2. Senior Time Scale - After first promotion
3. Junior Administrative Grade - After second promotion
4. Deputy Conservator of Forest ( Selection Grade) After third promotion
5. Conservator of Forest - After fourth promotion
6. Chief Conservator of Forests - After fifth promotion
7. Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests - After sixth promotion
8. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests - After Seventh promotion
9. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests ( Chief of Forest Department of a state) - After the last promotion
