    Hello,
In G.K. you have to prepare for Current Affairs. Because in UPSC and SSC examination current affairs are most probably asked.

Also you have to go for some newspapers like, The Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Hindu etc.

Also you have to see news channels also.

You have to read magazines or G.K. Book for the current affairs.

There is many Books of Publishers in the market like UPKAR, Lucent etc.

Also you can download e-books ONLINE to read g.k.

    Wish you all the best,

Re: What kind of G.K is asked in UPSC(Civil Services),SSC and IBPS bank PO exam?

    Dear Aspirant

Upsc means union public service commission

And ssc means staff selection commission

The gk asked in the upsc and banks and in ssc is different

In the upsc exam the gk is coming from all levels

Means from current affairs and past gk like indian history

And in ssc also same gk is asked mainly from current and past gk

But their is one difference is that the level of gk of upsc exam

Is much higher than to the level of ssc

And on the other hand the gk of banks comes

From mainly current events and banking industry

In banks the chances of coming of past gk is less

When compare to the ssc and upsc the level

Of the gk of the banks is easy

    Best of luck
