Will bank PO and SSC exams help in Civil Services preparation?

hello sir ,
i have completed graduation from science stream .i want to prepare for civil services & i belong to a middle class family .will preoare for bank P.O or S.S.C help my dream

Yes,but you have to study more to learn General studies which include Indian History,Constitution of India,Geography,Economics,Science,Current Affairs.You can learn science,Maths and other history subjects from school text.(6th std - 12 std)

prepartion for p.o or ssc will help you in clearing the civil services as the questions asked in p.o and ssc are aptitude related and also the questions related to economics which you prepare for the p.o exams will help you to a greater extent to clear the civil services

There is no much help provided by these examinations in the civil services.
If your ultimate aim is to be into the civil services then it is advisable to you that you should only concentrate on your preparation of this only. You should not prepare for anything else. Have the right focus, and the positive attitude and you will be successful

yes, obviously they help for the civil services preparation . gs comes almost same and you learn how to face examination.

If you ultimate goal is to clear Civil Services Examination... you have to concentrate fully on to it...nothing else.

There's no comparision between Bank P.O. and Civil Services Exam.

Civil Services is no doubt the most prestigious and highest level post ... can't be compared with a Bank P.O.

So, you better Fix your goal whether to go for Bank P.O. or Civil Services... and start your preparation accordingly.
