You need to know any particular co-curricular activity to become an IAS officer. While filling mains form, UPSC asks for your hobbies and it is good to fill one or two true hobbies than leaving it blank. So, develop one or two hobbies that will help you in UPSC interview apart from helping you sailing through your life.

Not dear it is not necessary to know any other activity to clear UPSC exam. If you have graduate from recognized university then you can directly apply for this exam through UPSC.
