Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IAS exam. so you cann't apply for this exam. your date of birth is 26-08-1976 so at the time of 2013 your age will be 37 year. and the age limit for IAS exam is 21 to 30 year. so you are not eligible.

because you have crossed the age limit for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM and for UPSC exam .

Sorry,you can not apply IAS exam or any UPSC exams Because the minimum age required for appear the exam is 21 year on 1st August on year of conduct the examination & your age is minimum 37 year on st August on the next year of Exam.

But according to your age you are not eligible for the exam.. because your age limit is cross.
Age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years,, but your age is present 37 years.
If you belong to reserve category then you are also not eligible for the exam because you cross the age limit.

The age limit for different categories are as follows
21 to 30 years for the general category.
21 to 33 years for the OBC(Other Backward Classes).
21 to 35 years for the SC/ST,ex-service man government.
21 to 40 years for the physically handicapped.
Your date of birth is 26/8/1976 and by that calculation your age is 36 years and 6 months.
In that case you are applicable only if you belong to the physically handicapped category.
