    I'm a female. My date of birth is 26/08/1976. Can I appear in IAS exam? Or can I apply for any UPSC exams?

    I m a female BOD 26/08/76. MTech. i m desirous for clearing IAS exams. can i?
    ops:
    it seems tht i m age bar o appear for it. can i appear any UPSC exam?

    Hello Dear,

    Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IAS exam. so you cann't apply for this exam. your date of birth is 26-08-1976 so at the time of 2013 your age will be 37 year. and the age limit for IAS exam is 21 to 30 year. so you are not eligible.

    Eligibility Criteria OF CSAT exam

    AGE limit

    Age of the candidate should be 21 to 30 year.
    candidate who are belong from OBC category can give this exam at the age 21 to 33 year
    candidate who belong from SC/ST category can apply this exam at the age 21 to 35 year

    candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream. marks or percentage doesn't matter.

    sorry to say that you can,t apply for IAS EXAM or UPSC EXAM.

    because you have crossed the age limit for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM and for UPSC
    exam .


    AGE should be 21 to 30 years.

    age relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.

    but you have crossed age limit.

    You are not eligible for the UPSC exam.
    The age for other categry
    for gen. - 21 to 30
    For obc - 21 to 33
    For sc/st - 21 to 35

    Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IAS exam. so you cann't apply for this exam. your date of birth is 26-08-1976 so at the time of 2013 your age will be 37 year. and the age limit for IAS exam is 21 to 30 year. so you are not eligible.

    Hello friend,
    Sorry,you can not apply IAS exam or any UPSC exams Because the minimum age required for appear the exam is 21 year on 1st August on year of conduct the examination & your age is minimum 37 year on st August on the next year of Exam.

    Sorry Mam you will not be eligible for the exam as you fulfil graduation eligiblity but you are not able to fulfil the age limit.

    So I am extremely sorry to say you cannot opt for it..

    Age Limits for UPSC Exam

    For General Category 21-30 year
    For SC/ST Category 21-35 year
    For OBC Category 21-33 year

    Dear your age is above given criteria so you can not apply for UPSC Exam

    Dear,
    Female candidate are also eligible for the civil service exam like as the male candidate/.

    But according to your age you are not eligible for the exam.. because your age limit is cross.

    Age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years,, but your age is present 37 years.

    If you belong to reserve category then you are also not eligible for the exam because you cross the age limit.

    In India there are different categories that live,some are developed and some are undeveloped,government provide special facilities to the under developed,so that they can come over their problem and live life happily.

    The below are the mention of such

    The age limit for different categories are as follows
    21 to 30 years for the general category.
    21 to 33 years for the OBC(Other Backward Classes).
    21 to 35 years for the SC/ST,ex-service man government.
    21 to 40 years for the physically handicapped.

    Your date of birth is 26/8/1976 and by that calculation your age is 36 years and 6 months.
    In that case you are applicable only if you belong to the physically handicapped category.

    You are not eligible to apply for the UPSC exams ...


    And as per my calculations ... your age is 37 years

    The minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years


    Even if you are applying the Age relaxation .. you can not apply for the exam ...

    I am really sorry to tell you that you can not apply for the UPSC exams because the age limit for the UPSC exams is 21-30 years for general

    candidates and 21-37 years for the SC/ST candidates.

    So you have exceeded the age limit of Application.

    So You can not apply.
