Can I become an IAS officer even if my maths is weak?

hello

I have heard that we have to choose two subjects to give the exam of UPSC.If my maths is not very well can I become an IAS officer by choosing any two subjects like science,s.st etc.Please answer soon.If my maths is not very well can I become an IAS officer.

It look like you are little bit confuse for IAS exams.
You have to do some prepartion for IAS exams.
After you can able for it .
Or if your maths is too weak then more prepare you other subjects so you can easily pass the IAS exam.

dear friend ,don't be confused. in IAS exam questions of maths are asked at level of 10+2 std.not a high level of mathamatics. please focus on your more interested subjects . so you can scored easily.

Everything is looks difficult if you do not do hard work on it.

Because hard work is the Key of Success.

If you think that your maths is weak then you must have to prepare more for the other subjects in which you are excellent if you scored more in the other subjects an less in the maths then it will equilibrium in the scores.

In the IAS exam maths is not too much hard if you work more on the math then you can easily crack the IAS exam.

If you want to qualify fir the IAS exam then you must have to face a paper of maths and you need to perform well in this paper also...... then only your total marks will be valuable....there is one option for you that if your math is not so good so, prepare well for your main subject and and score very high score in that so, that your marks of maths will be equalized by that.....But it doesn't mean that you ignore the maths......So prepare well for the maths as well as your main subject and give your best.........Maths looks harder to many people but once you start solving it on a regular basis then you will find easy to solve other problems also..............

If you focus better on other subjects then its surely possible to crack UPSC even without mathematics because you can keep this subject in optional one and can focus better on other subjects as well.

the mains pattern has changedi.e.you have to choose any 1 subject as optional
as you are weak in maths it is not at all a problem
csat and mains general studies has aptitude questions and 10th std range maths questions
make sure that you are thorough in the above subjects

*Dont worry about marks and subject of 11th standard.To become a IAS you must have graduation degree in any field from recognized university.
