-The Mains exams of the CIVIL SERVICEs are conducted in October and November by the UPSC.
-There has been no change in the pattern of examination for a while.

the examination pattern of the UPSC main exam are the written exam and the interview
. the writtern exam consist of 9 paper paper of essary type questions
and the interview carries 300 marks.
paper 1 of any indian language selected by you. 300 marks
paper 2 of english 300 marks
paper 3 eassy 200 marks
paper 4 & 5 general studies. 300 each paper
paper 6 , 7 .8 , 9 subected selected as option 300 each paper
