The duration of exam of UPSC for IAS/IPS is as follows:

Date for filling up application: 5 March 2012 Approx February-March Month.

Date of Notification: 4 Feb 2012 Approx February Month.

Date of Examination:

For Prelims 20 May 2012 Approx May month.

For Mains 5 October 2012 Approx October Month.

last date of UPSC examination has been already closed in the month of april,so you can not apply this year for the upsc examination it is better to try other examination which are remain to conduct this year ,if you hard n fast want to try for the upsc civil sservices exam then you have to wait for the same while you can try for this year.

1.CDS whose examination notices already being floted by UPSC ,still application link are activated ,better hurry go for them.

2. CPF whose notification are in waiting expected to be floated in this months last week.

so keep visiting WWW.UPSC.GOV.In regularily for the updation of notification besides that I am affixing eligibility criteria for above two examination as follows.

central police force (CPF) held once every year

whose eligibilty criteria are

1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

2. age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit,
of 3 years for the OBCs
and
5 years for the SC/STs.

CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

exam conducted bi-annually

in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
& one must be university graduate from recognised university

there is no age relaxation for any cateogory
