    Hi Dear

UPSC provides excellent opportunities to become Geologist through "Geologists' Examination" which is conducted annually.

The eligibility criteria for geologists exam is as follows:

"Master's Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognized University or equivalent".

Also note that Candidates appearing at their Master's Degree or equivalent examination (with prescribed subjects) are also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

You should also note that age limit for this exam is 21-32 years.
So upper age limit is 32 years while in most other exams of UPSC have 30 as their upper age limit.

So to become a Geologist you can appear for UPSC Geologists Examination 2013.

    Good luck.....
