Complete Procedure for UPSC exams is following as :
1. Online Application : UPSC Release the notification for various exams and invites online applications for various posts and online application system is available at - www.upsc.gov.in
2. Issuing of Admit Card/Hall Ticket/Roll No. For exam : After sometimes of application and before about 2 weeks of the exam UPSC board provides admit Cards for exam and admit cards also would be available at the above mentioned website.
3. Preliminary Exam : You will get the admit cards for prelims exam and you will have to appear for objective type prelims exam and qualify this exam if you want to appear for mains exam.
4. Mains Examination : After qualifying prelims exam you will have to apply for mains exam and this is a descriptive type exam which is most compulsory to qualify for interview process and you have to choose any two subjects in this exam for mains then qualify all 7 papers then you will be eligible to get interview call.
5. Interview Process : You have to face interview process after qualifying prelims and mains exam and if you pass in this process then you may become a officer of civil services under Indian government.

The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to the various Civil Services of the Government of India,

Indian Administrative Service (IAS),
