    HELLO,

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO KNOW IT THAT ONLY GRADUATE PERSON CAN APPEAR IN UPSC EXAMINATION.

BUT IN ONE THING SCRA EXAM YOU CAN FILL UP THE FORM.

THE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR SCRA SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE IS must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University.

I THINK IN THIS APPRENTICE YOU CAN FILL THE FORM.

THE AGE LIMIT IS A candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years on 1st January OF EXAM YEAR.

ALSO YOU CAN FILL UP THE FORM OF NDA NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY .

    Wish you all the best,

Dear, Extremely Sorry, to say that You can't appear for any exam after completing your Diploma in Polytechnic. If you are between 16-19 yrs. and completed your 10+2 than you can apply for NDA which is conducted by the UPSC. And if you are already got admission in Polytechnic than to save your time go to integrated BE or B.Tech and then apply for UPSC Exams. This suggestion will help you a lot in your future. So , Good Luck.. and think about it.

    Dear pal,
    • Union Public Service Commission is in charge of filling various vacancies available in the central government jobs. The various services are Foreign service, forest service, administrative service, police service, railway service , common defence exam, engineering etc
    • The eligibility required for appearing for any of the exam is bachelor degree and specialisation depends upon the job for which you are applying for .
    • So you can not apply for the exam with diploma so you need to complete your bachelor degree before applying for it . The age requirement for applying for the exam is 21 and one can apply till they are 30 years of age. Relaxation is provided for lower caste aspirants
    • So you need to make preparation for the exam right now so that you are able to appear within the age limit and join the government service.

As you have asked whether you could join in Indian Air Force, the qualifications which they seek are.

Re: In which UPSC exam can I appear after completing my Diploma in Polytechnic?

you can only appear on those examination which are based on the 10+2 basis If only when you have done the 10+2 education level before the POLYTECHNIC

but you can't be eligible for any examination on the basis of your polytechnic degree which are conducted by UPSC.

I will shortlisted those examination for which your chances are likely to be

National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA)
    Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam

    Friend,
-I would like to inform you that a Diploma in Polytechnic is just equivalent to Intermediate(10+2) exams.Hence, you will be able to appear for those exams only, which have the educational qualifications of +2 level.
-There are only two exams conducted by the UPSC which require +2,or equivalent qualifications. They are the NDA exams, and the SCRA exams.
-The NDA Exams are conducted bi-annually by the UPSC,in the months of April and September, and are known as the NDA-I and NDA-II exams respectively.
-The eligibility requirements to appear for the NDA exams are mentioned below-
    :ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAMS:
#You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India, before 1962.
#You must be 16.5 to 19 years of age.
#You must have completed your 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university.Final year students are also applicable.
#To apply for Navy or Air Wing, you must have had Physics and Maths as your subjects at +2 level.
#You must meet the physical and medical demands of the exams.

*If you meet the criteria, then you can surely apply for the exams,of which the notifications are released in January and May respectively,on the official website of the UPSC*

-The second exam which you can appear for is the SCRA Exams which are conducted annually by the UPSC in January.
-The eligibility requirements for the exams are mentioned below-
    :ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SCRA EXAMS:
#You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.
#You must be 16 to 21 years of age.
#You must have completed your 10+2 board exams or equivalent, with Physics and Mathematics, from a recognized board or university.

As you can take admission in Polytechnic after class 10th, so you are now equivalent to a 12th pass student and hence you are eligible for all the UPSC exams conducted for 12th pass students.
The following UPSC exams are conducted after class 12th-
    1. Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam
2.National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination

Re: In which UPSC exam can I appear after completing my Diploma in Polytechnic?

    dear aspirant,

sorry to say but you are not eligible for the upsc exam,
upsc requires graduated candidates or candidates who completed engineering from a recognized university,

diploma holders are not eligible for the upsc exam,
after diploma you cannot appear in a upsc exam,

you have to completed degree first then you will be eligible for the upsc exam,

along with that your age should also lie between 21 to 30 years.
if you belongs to OBC category then you will get age relaxation of 3 years,
then age limit will be 21 to 33 years,

if you belongs to SC/ST category then you will get age relaxation of 5 years,
age limits will be 21 to 35 years.

    good luck
