I think you talk about CSAT exam or civil services exam both are the same exam CSAT exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

IPS
IRS
IAAS
etc

CSAT exam is conducted in three stage
1.PRelims
2. MAINS exam
3. Interview

dear UPSC purpose is that it is Govt. Jobs Site which provide many types of job according to the exams like IPS, IAS, IFS, IES & CDS. These all exams are on graduate basis and there is three level to clear UPSC each exam.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission.

It is a central government body which organizes competitive exam for the recruitment of candidates at the officer post of central government.

The exam procedure for each exam is different.

if you want to apply for the Civil Service exam. There are three stages to crack this exam

Preliminary stage (200 marks)

Mains stage (400 marks)

Interview ( 300 marks)

This exam is conducted for the post of IAS, IPS or IRS.
