UPSC CPF - Central Police Force - AC - Assistant Commandant Examination and Question Paper Pattern

The Written examination to be conducted by UPSC will comprise two papers as follows :

Paper I - General Ability and Intelligence and Professional Skill Test - 150 questions for 300 marks

This paper will be of objective multiple choice questions in which the questions will be set in english as well as in Hindi. The Paper will comprise two parts as follows

Part A - General Ability and Intelligence - 75 questions for 150 marks

Part B - Professional Skills - 75 questions for 150 marks

Paper II - Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension - 100 Marks

In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi but the medium of precis writing and comprehension components will be english only

Questions in Paper I will be asked on the basis of following topics and subjects :

Part A - General Ability and Intelligence Section :

* General Mental Ability - Logical Reasoning, Quantitive Aptitude including Numerical Ability and Data Interpretation

* General Science and Technology - General Awareness, Scientific Temper, Comprehension and Appreciation of Scientific Phenomena of Everyday Observation, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science

* Current Events of National and International Importance - Culture, Music, Arts, Literature, Sports, Governance, Societal and Developmental Issues, Industry, Business, Globalization and Interplay among nations

* General Awareness : History of India, Indian and World Geography, Indian Polity and Economy

Part B - Professional Skills -

* Skills relating operational and administrative requirement of the central industrial security force
* CISF Related Professional Skills
* Law
* Computer Skills and Awareness
* Service Rules and HR Matters

Paper II - Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension

This paper is based on some most highlighted topics in current affairs and also can be over a big problem of the country as - Corruption or may be at the issue of FDI so you should be prepared well for this test and your writing skills should be well and your essay should be coherent, orderly, concise and understandable
