UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. UPSC conducts many civil services exam like IAS,IPS,IRS,IFS,IES etc..........

Required Qualification;-

>>You must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized university. There is no Percentage Requirement.

>>Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.

>>Your degree must be from a Indian recognized University.

Age limits;-

>>Your age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

>>3 years for OBC category, 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Number of attempts;-

General-4 times

OBC-7 times

There is no limit for SC/ST category.

Regarding academics: You have to complete any bachelor degree in a government approved institute(UGC Act) or you can appear even at final year but do see you get passed without arrear in the last semester.
Regarding age : OC-21 to 30 while appearing for exam
MBC- 21-33 and SC/ST-21-35.

For NDA :

examination to get the govt. jobs..

civil services examination a combined examination conducted by UPSC and if you want to become a civil servant under central govt.

than you have to clear the examination at any cost because this is only the way by which you can become IAS officer.

here are the requirements details to be eligible for the examination of civil services.....



Eligibility requirements:-


1. the candidate must be an Indian citizenship holder.

2. he has a degree of graduation while final year candidate are also eligible for the same.

3. the degree from which you obtained your degree must be govt. recognized.


Age criteria:-


1. the age criteria for general category is 21-30 y..

2. age criteria for obc candidates:- 21-33 y.

3. for sc/st the age criteria is :- 2-35 y.


these are the basic requirements necessary to fulfill to be eligible for appearing in the examination.

and there is a no. of a restriction for the candidates of different category so the candidate who attempts this examination not first

time must be sure that they can fulfill this criteria also because there is a major barrier of No. of attempts.


No of attempts allowed:-


1.only 4 attempts allowed to general.

2. 7 attempts allowed to obc category.

3. no any limitation for sc/st category.



so if you are fulfilling this criteria no body can stop you to appear in the examination, but you should d do very hard work to crack

the examination as it is not an easy examination.
