    You don't mention any specific examination conducted by UPSC. Because, there are differences in the qualification in different examination. so please mention the specific examination so that I'll help you. Best of Luck

    HELLO DEAR FRIEND,

    NATIONALITY: A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.


    AGE LIMIT :A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination. there is some age relaxation provided for candidates covered under some category.
    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University or possess an equivalent qualification.

    RESTRICTION ON NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS Possible: The maximum number of attempts restriction is effective from the examination held in 1984. In case other eligibility conditions apply:


    • General candidates: four attempts.
    • Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
    • Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or, You must be a Tibetan
    Refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.

    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit, of 3 years
    for the OBC and 5 years for the SC/ST

    You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent, from a recognized university under any


    stream, or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,7 for an OBC candidate, and


    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate, until he fulfills the age criteria

    2. Central police force (CPF) held once every year whose eligibility criteria are

    1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

    2. Age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit, of 3 years for the OBC sand 5 years for
    the SC/ST

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of Indian union) exam conducted bi-annually


    In which age should be within 18-25 yrs.& one must be university graduate from recognized university


    There is no age relaxation for any category

    You didn't mention the exact exam which is conducted by UPSC.

    There are 11 exams conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year.

    1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination

    2. Civil Services (Main) Examination

    3. Indian Forest Service Examination


    4. Engineering Services Examination


    5. Geologist Examination


    6. Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination


    7. National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination


    8. Combined Defence Services Examination


    9. Combined Medical Services Examination


    10. Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination


    11. Section Officers/Stenographers (Grade-B/Grade-I) Limited Departmental Competetive Examination

    Civil Service : 21-30 years, graduation

    for upsc exams
    candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
    final year appearing candidates can also apply for the upsc exams.
    age limit for the upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
    candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST gets the age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.


    the above mentioned requirements are essential to appear in upsc exam.

    as you didn't mentioned the particular examination conducted by upsc still i would say the basic required qualification for most of UPSC exams is graduation.

    eligibility criteria for upsc exams is:
    candidate should have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university.
    candidates appearing in final year can also apply for the upsc exam.
    age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
    candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.

    AGE LIMITS


    candidate should have attained the age of atleast 21 years to become eligible for the exam,
    age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years,
    upsc provides age relaxation to the category like OBC and SC/ST,
    age relaxation of 3 years is given to the OBC candidates.

    candidates belonging to OBC gets age relaxation of 3 years .
    age limits for the OBC candidates is 21 to 33 years


    SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 5 years.
    age limits for th SC/St candidates is 21 to 30 years.


    also the candidates who are govt. employees gets age relaxation of 5 years ,
    so for them age limits is 21 to 35 years.

    10+2 standard .

    CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE:-

    CIVIL SERVICE EXAM :-

    SCRA - SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE:-

    12th standard

    FOR IFS EXAMS:-

    candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream. marks or percentage doesn't matter.

    Age Limit

    General 21 to 30
    OBC 21 to 33
    SC/ST 21 to 35

    Nationality- must be Indian

    No. of attempts

    General- 4
    OBC- 7
    SC/ST- no limit

    Eligibility criteria For NDA:-


    1. the candidate must be an indian citizen.

    mostly graduation you should have if you want to give UPSC exam.............like that IPS, IAS, IFS, IES, IRS, CDS.......................n if you don't have degree from recognised university...........then obviosly you can apply on 12th basis for NDA or SCRA exam...........bcoz for this exam you should pass Intermediate only.......................

    12th Level Exam:

    NDA/NA:

    For Army Wing of NDA :
    12th pass from any recognized board

    Physical Standards :

    Height - Male - 165 cm for general candidates and 160 for reserved category candidates

    Chest Female - Minimum 79 cm and expansion of minimum 5 cm

    for giving the upsc exam, the qualifications are as follows-
    ypu should be a citizen of india
    you should be a graduate in any stream from a recognized Indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
    In these years, you have 4 attempts to give.
    For obc, the age limit is 21-33 years and attempts are 7
    For sc/st the age limit is 21-35 years and there is no restriction in the number of attempts.

    UPSC conducts exams at intermediate level and at graduation level....
    At intermediate level you can apply for the NDA & SCRA exams.......
    Here are the criteria for the NDA exams.......
    -- You must have completed your 12th.
    -- Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years.
    -- You must be physically and mentally fit and unmarried.
    At graduation level you can give the UPSC exam like IPS, IES, CDS, IAS, etc..........

    Required eligibility conditions for UPSC Exams:

    Educational criteria: Any degree from recognized university.

    Age criteria:

    Minimum: 21 years

    Maximum: 30 years

    This is applicable for general category.

    There is age relaxation as follows

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST & Exservice Men.

    10 years for PWD.

    Number of attempts:

    General candidates: four attempts.

    Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.

    Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

    Yes , UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. It conducts many exams Every exam has its own criteria.

    For Civil Services Examination :


    • Candidate must be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.
    • Candidate must be under 21-30 years.3 years age relaxation for BC candidate and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.
    • Candidate should be citizen of India.
    • Male/Female both are eligible.

    For N.D.A :


    • Candidate must be passed his 12th exam and also can apply in 12th.
    • Candidate must be under 16.5-19 years.
    • Candidate should not be married.
    • Only male candidate are eligible.
    • Candidate must be physically good.

    For S.C.R.A :


    • Candidate must be passed his/her 12th and also can apply in 12th.
    • Candidate must be under 17-21 years.
    • Candidate must be physically good.
    • Male/Female both are eligible.

    For I.E.S :


    • Candidate must be passed his/her graduation only in engineering.

    UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission , It conducts many exam every exam has different requirements.

    For CDS :-

    Candidate should be graduate and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    Candidate must be under 19-25 years.

    For NDA :-

    Candidate should be pass 12th and also can apply in 12th.

    Candidate must be under 16.5-19 years.

    For SCRA :-

    Candidate must be pass 12th and also can apply in 12th.

    Candidate must be under 17-21 years.

    For IES :-

    Candidate should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

    For Civil Services Exam :-

    Conducted by : UPSC Once in a year

    Age : 21yrs to 30yrs for General Candidates

    Age Relaxations : 3yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST Candidates

    Educational Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from any recognised university in India.

    Never mentioned nay cut off percentage for the exam

    Maximum Number of Attempts : 4 for General , 7 for OBC and As many they can for SC/ST candidates

    For IPS : Physical Hieight should be 170cms.

    Exam Pattern : 3 stages
    1. PT
    2. Mains
    3. Interview

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or, You must be a Tibetan
    Refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.

    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit, of 3 years
    for the OBC and 5 years for the SC/ST

    You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent, from a recognized university under any


    stream, or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,7 for an OBC candidate, and


    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate, until he fulfills the age criteria

    2. Central police force (CPF) held once every year whose eligibility criteria are

    1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

    2. Age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit, of 3 years for the OBC sand 5 years for
    the SC/ST

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of Indian union) exam conducted bi-annually


    In which age should be within 18-25 yrs.& one must be university graduate from recognized university


    There is no age relaxation for any category....
