if you become IAS that is all about you goal and passion.
if you really wants to be a IAS then there is no specific study needed just be any graduate and after that you can directly apply for your goal.
BA students will also be working as IAs so it is all about your goal and passion ..
try for working and hardwork is more needed for this post because it is more than Cm and all leader.. all power is on your hand..
