    What strategy should I follow for Civil Services Exam preparation?

    sir, myself poonam sharma . i have just completed my graduation(ba hons.). iwant to make my career in civil services.please tell me about strategy of preparing for these services. and also provide me knowledge about other field as soon as &as much as possible.i will wait your answer.thanking you ! with regards !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Civil services exam is divided into:
    1.Prelims and
    2.Mains
    This year(2013) the Prelims will be held in May and Mains will be held in November.For preparation of civil services exam following tips are here:
    1.Read newspaper daily.
    2.Read India Today magazine.
    3.Get prepared with your aptitude from RS Aggarwal.
    4.Read history,geography,general science books of cbse from class 6th till 10th.
    5.Get prepared with Indian Economy from some book.
    6.Also take your optional subject into well consideration because it will help you score good marks.
    7.Also study general knowledge books.
    8.Finally,work hard and study daily for 8-10 hrs.

    It is a good decision that you want to make your carrier in Civil Service Exam

    To preparation for examination

    You should schedule time table
    you should spent 5-6 hrs daily at study
    you should read news paper daily
    you should read magazine
    you should watch news channel daily
    you should solved previous question paper
    you should read NCERT books
    you can join best coaching center
