Examination Pattern for Revenue Inspector Examination : This examination is conducted by Odisha government in India and only for state level services according to that official information following pattern will be there asked in examination
General Awareness - 100 Marks : All parts of the General Knowledge relating state and others - Current Highlighted Events, History, Geography, Indian Polity, Environmental Science, Science and Technology, Economy and Trade etc.
Arithmetic - 100 Marks - HCF and LCF, Ration Proportion, Average and Ages, Approximation, Trigonometry, Geometry, Mensuration, Interest, Time and Work, Bar Diagram etc.
Computer Written Test - 50 Marks - Office Application Softwares - MS Office Latest, Windows and DOS, Operating Systems, Input and Output, Languages, Web Technologies and Internet, Process of Computation, Data Processing, Hardware and Software
Computer - Practical Test - 50 Marks : Practical Part will be based on MS Office Applications to test your knowledge about computer - MS Office, Internet Using etc.
Hand Writing in Oriya - 50 Marks : Language Proficiency of the state of Odisha that is - Oriya so you should learn grammar of this language and should have good writing speed with accuracy in words and skills of writing should be modern and better than others
To apply for this examination, you should have passed :
A bachelor's degree examination in Arts, Science and Commerce including bachelor's in business administration or bachelor's in computer application or equivalent from a recognized university and should have good knowledge of the operation of computer systems and must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) Examination conducted by the council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent
He/she must be of good character and shall furnish alongwith the application a certificate of good character from head of the institution in which he/ she last studied or from any gazetted officer
Age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and more than 32 years and relaxation in upper age can be claimed by reserved category candidates as per government norms that is 3 years for OBCs and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates

To become a Revenue Inspector you have to join Indian Revenue Services.
For joining Indian Revenue Services you have to appear for Civil Services Examination which is conducted by UPSC for various Indian Services.
Civil Services exam is conducted for many administrative services and Indian Revenue Services also comes under it. So you have to apply for Civil Services exam if you have aim of becoming an IRS Officer.
Graduation is the minimum qualification neede for Civil Services Exam.
Age should be between 21 to 30 years and if you are from reserved category then you will get age relaxation.
Selection is on the basis of prelims, mains and interview.
