you should follow the subjects thoroughly and in depth as it is one of the most difficult exam in india. you may try some coaching if you can manage time. and refer previous questions thoroughly.

For this your knowledge about your engineering topic should be very good and the concepts should be clear.You have to follow some good books based on general science.
Always practice previous years question papers and keep yourself to the time limit.
