    dear friend,

    To become an IAS officer you have to clear the UPSC CS(Civil Services) Exam that is conducted for the post of IAS.

    Eligibility Criteria For CS:
    1. you must complete or appearing in final year of Graduation in any field from recognized college or university.
    2. Your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. Relaxation for reserved category candidates in upper age limit : 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

    An IAS officer is the Administrative officer in the district. You can become District Magistrate or Deputy collector as administrative officer which is gazetted post. The IAS exam is conducted by UPSC union public service commission.

    Any graduates who is between age of 21 and 30 can apply for the examination. The notification for this examination comes in February month and last date for applying is approx March month.     Hey friend,

    The way by which you can become a IAS officer is by writing the CSAT exam which is a Indian Civil Service exam which is conducted by UPSC and is held every year for the post of IAS officer.

    You need to pass the Preliminary, Main and the Interview to join in for the post of IAS officer.

    There are criteria's which are needed to be possessed in order to apply for the exam to join in as IAS officer and they include:

    > Nationality
    > Age Limit
    > Education Qualification

    You need to be a citizen of India.

    The candidate appearing for the exam must have a age limit of 21-30 years.

    There are certain upper age relaxation for other category candidates.

    Education qualification needed for the IAS exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

    You can finish a degree in any discipline as it is recognized and even final year candidates can apply for the IAS exam.


    If you are satisfying all these criteria then you can apply for the IAS exam for joining in as IAS officer.

    There are no special ways to sit in IAS examination

    The only ways are you have to completed graduation in any stream

    Do not bother about your percentage

    And your age must be above 21 years

    Age relaxation also applied for reservation candidates

    For bc's and sc's the relaxation would be 3 and 5 years

    With your degree you can attempt any exam in upsc

    any way good luck...

    there is the only way to become an IAS officer which is 'crack the exam'

    to appear in the examination you have to fill the online application form and pass all the levels of the exam.
    but first you should conform that you are eligible or not!

    eligibility criteria:-

    1. you must be an indian.
    2. you should be graduate with a recognized university.


    age criteria:-

    1. for general-21-30 yrs.
    2. for sc/st- 21-35 yrs.
    3. for obc - 21-33yrs.

    You need to clear the Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC

    Civil Service Exam Criteria :
    If you are in last year of your graduation or you complete your graduation then you can apply for the civil service exam .
    your age should be 21-30 for general cast , 21-33 for obc , 21-35 for sc/st / ex-serviceman .
    so that you are eligible for the exam so start the preparation for the exam now and apply for the exam
    As you complete your graduation so that you can apply for the exam .
    your age should be between 21-30 years for general cast , 21-33 for obc , 21-35 for sc/st/ex-serviceman , so if you fulfill the reqirements then you can apply for the exam .
    Now as you are commerce graduate student so that Account , history i think good subject to choose for the main exam .

    You can become an IAS Officer

    By just giving the civil services exam

    The exam is conducting by the upsc department every year

    And the civil services exam is one of the difficult and very much reputed test

    Here is ways to apply for the civil services exam:

    -You can apply for the exam online

    -Just open the website of the upsc

    -And choose the option of civil services exam

    -And then fill the form and submit the form

    And here is the criteria for the civil services exam:

    # The Candidate should be pass in Graduation from a recognized Indian university

    # The final year candidates are also allow for the exam

    # The candidate age should be between 21-30

    To become an IAS ( Indian Administrative Service) officer there is only single way.

    That is Civil Service exam which is conducted by UPSC Every year.

    So you will have to appear in this exam.


    Required Qualification

    You must be graduate in any stream

    Candidate with age of 21 to 30 years are eligible to apply.

    SC/ST + 5 years

    There is only one way to become an IAS officer is. CSAT exam

    The eligiblity criteria of the exam is..

    1.graduation from any recognized university of INDIA.

    2.age:21-30 fro general..

    The pre paper consists of two papers i.e.

    1.GK(200 number)

    2.Aptitude(200)

    After clearing this you have to appear for the mains

    then for the interview..

    1) You can write UPSC civil services examination and become a direct IAS officer
    2) You can write group 1 examination conducted by state public service commissions such as MPSC,TNPSC etc and become RDO(revenue district officer). After 7-8 years of service, if there are no blackmarks and you have good performance, then u can get conferred IAS, which is equal both in powers and pay to direct IAS

    There is one way to become a ias officer,

    the person must be indian citizen
    age limit is 21 to 30 years
    physically and mentally fit

    num of attempts;-
    general catagory students-4 attempts
    obc candidate-7attempts
    sc/st-un limited

    age relaxiation-

    sc/st-5 years
    physically handicaped-10years
    ex serviceman-5 years

    exam pattern;-
    prliminary exam
    civils main exam

    first you have to clear the priliminary exam then only u can write the civils main exam
