IES is a highly prestigious job,it is considered to be the mother of all the engineering exams.

When you talk about salary,the government officials are never paid that much,although including the incentives and all other different expenses the salary becomes really high but asa a fresher you would only get 15-20k per month but along with that you would be getting several incentives and different facilities which add up to nearly 50k as demanded by you.

Frankly speaking IES is such a exam where the money is off not that issue,it becomes usual but the pride you will get by joining as a IES is of worthless,it is completely great.Do not think about salary while applying for big like IES,just think how to clear it because that is really tough to turn true.

Basic pay of IES officer will start from Rs 21000 to 39000 + TA +DA and many more benefits.Yes IES officer salary will be more than fifty thousand if IES officer promotion in higher rank.For this examination ,Candidates must have engineering degree from a recognized university.Age limit - 21 to 30 years.Reservation in ages - 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.Good Luck!
