Dear Applicant,
-At present,Due to FALLING ECONOMY and RISING INFLATION,there is no Security in Jobs.Persons employed in Private Sectors, though receive a little bit more of an income, are received REASONLESS SACKING in the hands of the BOSSES.
-Hence,people are now seeking Jobs into the Government Sector, because it Provides a lot of SECURITY in work, relieving them from a lot of tension.
-Apart from this, the newly employed get a lots of facilities and allowances such as housing, electricity, water, etc at proper cost.
-The income they receive is also a handsome one, nothing much a difference than those in the private sectors now.
-The UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts various exams for recruitment of various TOP posts at the centre,in the fields of Administration,Defence,Police Service,Postal Service,Forest Service,Medical Service,Revenue Services,Indian Railways,Economic Service, etc.
-The UPSC exams are PREFERRED because the posts on offer through these exams are HIGHLY PRESTIGIOUS,FULL OF HONOUR AND DIGNITY,LOADS OF SECURITY,A PAY WHICH IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ONE'S NEEDS AND A LOT OF OTHER ALLOWANCES.
-Qualifying the exams would settle the future of the candidates for the BEST.

Hi Aspirant
Yes these days people are very much interested in the government jobs
And the main reason is the job security and other facilities
Well in private sector you have work very much hard
And their is no security for the job means they can remove you
If you are not doing well and on the other hand in government
Jobs too you need to work hard but at least their is a job security
And after the six pay commission the pay of the government employees
Is also very good and the reputation of government employees is also good
And in government jobs you will get house and pension and infact fee of your kids
And also the reputation of the upsc exam high because
The pay and the reputation of the upsc post is very high
As Ias officer will be recruiting after clearing the exam
So you can understand why people interest in the government job
As IAS And IPS are highest ranks of the country
And today youth is more aware about his future
So that's why the competition is increasing in the government jobs
Best of luck
Dear ,
as you see there are no any guarantee of private jobs because the world economy is imbalance
and the second important reason is that this upsc pobs giving high pay so most of the younger are back to the government jobs through upsc.
****Hi friend!!****That'a very good question to ask.
One of the main reason's is there is no other prestigious job directly like IAS and IPS, as the Civil Servants get a chance to help the people directly.
And there's no other commission like UPSC that can get to higher position than Civil Servants directly.
In other words, if there's any exam for the Prime Minister's(PM) post then everyone would have gone behind that. But unfortunately there's no exam like that.
And people are shifting towards Government jobs even though they're less paid because they're free to do their job and they find security in government job.
For example: If you're interested in taking a study leave for 3 years, you can get that in government job easily. And the most important part is you can still have the job after the 3yrs, which you cannot find it in a private job.
No security for Private job.
This is only one example of many. There are still many advantages of Government sector over Private sector.
You can have a look at all UPSC exams at http://www.upsc.gov.in/***I wish you all SUCCESS!!***
It is good question friends It is true that the craze of government jobs again increasing and youth are looking for government jobs. A huge number of people want to join government jobs and specially UPSC jobs. As you know UPSC conducts the exam for the officer rank , So candidates are specially attractive for UPSC exam. Before some years ago youth are going to private sector in large quantity due to attractive pay scale and opportunities of bright future. But when recession come in 2008 and private companies remove the thousands employee. Then several candidates become unemployed and looking for government jobs. Government jobs has stability and Security but private jobs have no stability and security of job. Government implement 6th pay commission. Due to 6th pay commission the pay scale of government jobs become very attractive and like private jobs. So now youth turn to government jobs. Government jobs have no effect of recession, so it is secure jobs.Hi Aspirant,Best of Luck
