The exam of Ies is conducting by the upsc department
Every year and yes their is no need to worry much
As the final year candidate of B.tech are eligible for the exam
And you can write the exam with out any problem
If you passing all the conditions like age and other
Education Qualification:
# The Candidate should be pass in b.tech like Electronics and Mechnical
# Or either pass in any equivalent degree
# Final year candidates are also eligible to write the exam
Age Limitations :
# The age limit for general is 21-30
# The age limit for the obc 21-33
# And for the sc,st 21-35
Attempts :
# 4 attempts allowed to general
# 7 attempts allowed to obc
# Unlimited attempts allowed to sc,st

Dear, if you have given all information to the best of your knowledge than it doesn't matter. Because final year students are eligible for the IES-2013 exam. So, don't worry and prepare for the exam. and do your best.
