For each wrong answers,you will be get 1/3 loose of your total marks.

CDS exam stands for combined defence academy.

---to apply cds exam,you must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized university

----for army, any graduate can apply cds exam.
----final year candidates are also eligible
----to join navy as well as air force,you must be passed graduate in science stream/engineering graduate

----Age limit is 19-24 years for army

19-25 yearns for officer training academy

19-23 years for air force

19-22 years for navy

----you must be Indian citizen.

there is a negative marking in the CDS exam.

For each wrong answer you will loose 1/3 of the question mark.

So be careful while giving the exam.

Choose only that answer which you are sure that it is right otherwise you can leave the circle blank in the answer sheet.

There will be deducted one mark instead of your three answers wrong.
So give the answer carefully do not give the answer by hit and trail method.

Yes, there will be a negative markings system foe wrong answers in Objective type question papers. There will be a four (4) alternatives for the answer to all questions. For every question for which a wrong answer has been given by you , one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. There will be no marks that may be positive or Negative left blank questions.

Yes there will be negative marking in the CDSE exam,the exam that is conducted as a competitive exam always have the negative marking for wrong answers.
Every exam that is conducted for the employment purpose or admission in college and universities have negative marking,to be specific all the employment purpose and admission purpose entrance exam have MCQ(Multiple Choice Questions) format,where a question have four answers provided and one is correct or at times may be two,in such pattern the negative marking is always present.

Eligibility criteria:

>>For Naval Academy,bachelor's engineering is necessary for the CDS exams.

>>IMA:19-24 years

>>INA: 19-23 years

>>OTA: 19-25 years

Hai,Yes friend there is a negative marking in the CDS examination.The negative marking is all set to one third i.e one negative mark for three negative answers.So be carefull when answering the questions.Best of luck.

There is negative marking in UPSC CDS exams.For every wrong attempt 1/3 marks will be deucted. So you should not attempt the question which you dont know.
