Well yes you are eligible after you have successfully completed Graduation

These are examinations you may appear for :

>> SCRA

>> CDS

>> IES(if from core stream and ec)

>> Naval exam

>> Civil services

Eligibility Criteria for Civil services :




>> You must have done Graduation from any Recongnised University by UGC , if Correspondence than DEC.




>> Age Criteria :

Minimum age : 21 Years
Maximum Age : 30 Years


Relaxations for OBC : 3 Yrs in Maximum Age
Relaxations for SC/ST : 5 Yrs in Maimum age.




>> Number of Attempts :
Genereal : 4

Yes you are eligible to appear in the UPSC civil services exams since you have cleared all your backlogs and are now an engineering graduate.

Min eligibilty criteria to sit in the exam is graduation pass from a recognised university.

Min age to apply is 21 years
Max age to apply is 30 years

General candidates gets 4 attempts

Now the next UPSC civil services Prelims exams will be held in May 2013 and notification for this exam will come out in feb 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. You need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation in any field from recognized college or university.
2. Your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
