Eligibility Criteria for IFS Exam:

B.Tech is a graduation degree course , and Indian forest Service comes under civil services .

Civil services exam conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

For civil services examination every graduate can apply , it does not matter that in which fields candidates has passing his/her graduation , only candidate should be graduate from any recognized university and also those candidates can apply which are in last year of graduation.

Age Limit :

General Category : 21-30 years
BC Category : 21-33 years
SC/ST Category : 21-35 years

The educational qualification required for applying in IFS(Indian Forest Service Exams).

A degree with at least one of the subjects namely animal husbandry&veterinary science,botany,chemistry,Geology,mathematics,physi cs,statics,zoology or a bachelor degree in forestry or agriculture or Engineering degree.

As you have a engineering degree,you are eligible.

All other criteria are as it is.

Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
Relaxation for various groups scheduled caste.scheduled tribe,other backward classes.

From now of 2013,Indian Forest Services have been included well in the CSAT(Civil Service Aptitude Test).
That include other list of services such as IAS-Indian Administrative Services,IPS-Indian Police Services etc.
