    bachelor degree holder from any stream can apply for civil service exam.

    Yes of course If you are Graduate in any stream you can fill the form of UPSC. Indian Administrative Services i.e. IAS and Indian Police Services i.e. IPS exams are conducted by UPSC.

    You can apply online for these examinations at www.upsconline.nic.in

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    There is five years relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.

    There are two types of written examination in UPSC.

    UPSC Prelim exam and UPSC Mains exam. You will appear in UPSC Prelim exam first in which Objective type Questions are asked from General English, General Studies etc.

    For UPSC Mains you have to choose Subjects. There are total 51 Optional Subjects in which 23 are from main subjects and 28 Language Subjects like Hindi, English, Bengali etc.

    Yes you are eligible since you are a graduate.

    Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam

    -You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.
    -You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year.
    -UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.
    -Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 23 years.
    -You must be a citizen of India.


    Important dates:
    Last date for online Application: 5th March 2012 till 11.59 pm
    Date of Commencement Exam: 20.05.2012 (SUNDAY)

    Any Bachelors degree candidates are eligible for UPSC CSAT examination. But you should pass the Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognized university. Thanks.

    -Being a Bachelor in Physiotherapy,you are definitely eligible to apply for the Civil Service exams conducted by the UPSC.
    -Mentioned below are the complete eligibility requirements for appearing these exams-
    :: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    -You must be a citizen of India,
    or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee,settled permanently in India,before 1962.
    -You must be 21 to 30 years of age.
    However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
    -YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED YOUR GRADUATION,OR EQUIVALENT,FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY,WITH ANY SUBJECT OR STREAM.
    Final year student are also applicable.

    Hey friend,

    Having completed B.Physiotherapy you can apply for the civil services as you satisfy the educational qualification needed for it.

    The Indian Civil services includes:

    • IAS
    • IPS
    • IFS

    Apart from the educational qualification you need to satisfy certain other criterias which includes such as:

    >> Candidate should be a citizen of India.

    >> The age limit is 21-30years and there are certain relaxations for the other categories.

    >> Educational qualification needed is the candidate should have completed a degree in any discipline from a reputed university with a fair percentage.

    >> Apart from this you need to satisfy the physical standards for the IPS exams.


    If you satisfy these then you can apply for the civil services.

    YES, it is conducted irrespective of your graduation stream/marks percentage/even you can choose any two optionals of any stream according to your wish among the list offered by upsc

    UPSC can conducts the civil services examsfor( IAS,IPS) also conducts CMS,IES,CPF,CDS,IFS etc......
    UPSC takes these exams every year.

    IAS,IPS,IES,IFS exams can be conducts in 2 stages namely

    Preliminary exam
    Main examination.

    After completion of preliminary exam you are eligible for Main examination.

    After clearing the main examination you will be called for final interview.

    Preliminary examination should consist of 2 papers.Which is conducted on objective type only.

    Main examination should consist of 9 papers,it is a descriptive exam.

    Eligiblity:


    Education qualifications;

    You have to pass your graduation in any recognized university.
    Age qualifications:

    Your age should in between 21-30 years.
    Upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

    No.of Permissible attempts:

    4 for General candidates.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you are eligible for the upsc exam no doubt

    Because any graduate from a recognized indian university are eligible for the exam

    Here is the criteria for the exam:

    The candidate should be pass in graduation

    From a recognized indian university

    Age : The candidate age should be between 21-30

    Relaxation given to the obc of 3 years

    Relaxation given to the sc,st candidate of 5 years

    Relaxation given to the obc category candidate of 3 years

    If you have all these qualification then you can go for the exam

    And the answer for your question that is yes

    The graduate candidates from any field are allow to sit in the exam '

    Dear Friend,

    Yes you are eligible for the UPSC Civil Services Exam if you have completed your Bachelor`s Degree in Physiotherapy as per the educational qualifications criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission for the Civil Services Exam.

    But at the same time , you have to keep in mind that you have to also fulfill the other eligibility criteria required for the same.


    The Other Eligibility Criteria are :

    a) Your age should lie in between 21-30 years.

    b) There is also a relaxation in upper age for reserved category candidates as per Govt. Rules.
