in the age limit the age relaxation for the exam is minimum 21
And maximum 30 for the open category candidates
Age Limit Required for Civil Services Exam :
-The Minimum age should be 21 and maximum 30 for general
-The Minimum age should be 21 and maximum 33 for the obc
-The Minimum age should be 21 and maximum 35 for the sc,st candidates
-The age should be minimum 21 and maximum 40 for ph candidates
Education :
-The Aspirant must be pass in the graduation degree
-The Final year candidates can also apply for the exam
Attempts :
-Their is 4 attempts allowed for the general
-their is unlimited attempts given to the sc and st
-Their is 7 attempts given to the obc
Nationality :
-Indian

There is no change in maximum age limit for General Category aspirant.
The maximum age is 30 years for general candidate.
There is no relaxation for General Category.
So dear if your age is between 21-30 year, then you can apply for Civil Services Exams.
You should be Graduate any stream from any recognized university.
There are 4 Attempts for General Candidate.

General candidate 21 to 30
OBC 21 to 33
SC/ ST 21 to 35
- There is no changes in the upper age limit of the general category students in the civil services exam.
- It's the same age limit which was earlier.
- There is also no provision for the age relaxations for them.
- The age limit for general category student is 21-30 years.
- There is hardly any change in the above age limit in future.
- The number of attempts in civil services exam for general category students is only four.
- Education qualification required for it is graduation from an recognised university.
There is no relaxation for general category candidates, it remains same 30 years for general category for the Civil Services Preliminary exam, which is going to be conducted on 19th May 2013.
Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows:
3 years for OBC.
5 years for SC/ST
10 years for PWD & Exservice-men.
There is no age relaxation for general categories. If you want to enter into UPSC then you should be a complete graduate from recognized university with any percentage. You should be Indian citizen
Age limit: The age limit for the open category is 21-30
and relaxation for the ph category is 10 years
and relaxation for the sc/ST is 5 years

The age limitations for the civil services examinations is still the same .There is no further amendment in the previous limitations that are as below:
For general catgeory; 21-30 years.No relaxation is provided to this catgeory.
For OBC and SC/ST respectively ,the age relaxation is three years and five years respectively.
In case of no attempts
General: 4
OBC and SC/ST have advantage in no of attempts also :
OBC;7
SC/ST : no limit.
Only in case of educational qualification ,Bachelor's degree is same for the all category.
Final year graduation candidates can also give this examination.

in civil service exam for GENERAL CATEGORIES no any age relaxation.
AGE RELAXATION FOR :-
OBC = 3 YEARS
SC/ST = 5 YEARS.
