Of- Course Dear, AMICE Degree is valid for UPSC EXAMs. As per the Advertisement of UPSC Civil Services Exam "The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 jof the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or posses an EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION". Here, the words " EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION" gives you the right to apply for the UPSC Exam. So, Good Luck...

If your college/university is recognized by UGC then only your degree will be valid for UPSC Exams.
You can check whether your college/university is recognized by UGC or not from the official UGC website. The Official UGC Website is www.ugc.ac.in
Once you visit the website select Universities & Colleges tab then select Universities option. After that select the type of your university and proceed.
In this way you can determine whether your degree is valid or not all by yourselves.
The Education Criteria for UPSC Exams is as follows:
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Final year degree students are also eligible
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university
