To join UPSC exam;-

----you must be passed a graduate degree from a recognized university or appearing in final year.

---there is not percentage requirement.

----General age limit is 21-30 years.

---You must be Indian citizen.

---You must be physically fit.

There is UES(University Entry Scheme) for Pre final years candidates to join Indian army

For Btech students here are following options:
1.CDS
2.Civil services i.e IAS/IPS
3.IES and for it the following streams are eligible and they are:
*Civil
*Mechanical
*Electronics
*Electrical...

And most importantly only final year graduates or graduates can apply for them...

UPSC stands for the Union Public service commission.UPSC is responsible for conducting large no of examinations at national level which are very tough and competitive and not easy to crack .It gives you opportunity to join the various department that fall under government.

Friend,the eligibility criteria for most of the UPSC exams is that you should a have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or you are in final year of bachelor's degree.there is no such UPSC exam for which prefinal year candidates of bachelor's degree are eligible.

So it would be better for you to apply during your final year of bachelor's degree.
