Can a B.Com student join NDA? If yes what is the procedure for same.

Im a b.com student and wanna join nda...and i dont belong to a maths background... So wanted to know whether i can join nda, if so whats the procedure?

So I think your age might be more than 19 years

So in this concern you are not at all eligible to appear for the exam


Because the Eligibility and AGE CRITERIA is given as follows --


You must have a minimum of " 16.5 " years

Maximum age is allowed up to " 19 " years


THERE IS NO AGE RELAXATION FOR RESERVED CANDIDATES ..

So you must Strictly follow the Age criteria

The minimum qualification is only " 12th " class from a recognized university

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

It is a entry for intermediate candidates.
NDA-qualification required-10+2 passed with physics and maths for air force and navy
Any stream for army wing.

NDA is conducted twice in a particular year.
NDA age limit is little low.
Age-16.5 to 19 years(at time of commencement of course,not when applying).

You B.COM is not eligible,due to age and due to qualification.
You may apply for CDSE,to get in defence.

NDA is not a possible for you,at this stage.

Yes you are eligible if you've done 10 and +2 pattern...
There are two wings :
Army and Air force , For Army 10 and +2 of any pattern is sufficient... But for Air force PCM pattern is required in +2....
Age limit is 16.5 to 19 years..
Candidate must a Indian citizen....
Candidates can appear for NDA if they are studying or completed +2...

If you are a BCOM graduate and having age less than 19 years then only you can apply for the NDA examination otherwise if you are more than 19 then you can go for the CDS examination.
If you are likely to go for the NDA then you need to see the eligibility criteria for the same as follows-
Your age needs to be 16.5 to 19 years to apply for the same.
you should not have any criminal records to apply for the national defence academy.
There should not be any age relaxation.

Hello, your background is commerce without Mathematics then should not worry you can join in Indian defence
job through CDS(combined defence services).CDS entrance examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

CDS ELIGIBILITY:-

1. A Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University in any discipline can write UPSC CDS exam.

2.The age of CDS Army: 19-24 years, CDS NAVY: 19-22 years, CDS AIR FORCE: 19-23 years.

3.Male/female both can write CDS examination.

4.Marital Status: Must be single.

5.Must be the Indian National.

NDA stands for the National defense academy .The entrance exam for it is conducted by the UPSC and gives you chance to join the three different wings of defense which is as below:

>>Indian ARMY

>>Indian Navy

>>Indian Air force

Minimum qualification required for the exam is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized university.

The age limit for the exam is 16.5-19 years.

To be very honest ,after completion of your bachelor's degree I do not think that your age will less than 19 years .You must be between 16.5-19 years in order to be eligible for the NDA entrance exam.

So you may not be eligible for the NDA exam due to age limits.There is a separate paper for mathematics of 300 marks so you cannot escape that.

NDA requires unmarried male Indian candidates only .

However if you are interested in joining defense you can go for the Combined defense services on bachelor's degree basis.

You will be eligible for :

Indian Military academy:19-24 years

Officer's training academy:19-25 years.

Yes B.com Students are also eligible to write NDA exam. NDA exam is of 12th level. for NDA you need only 12th.

NDA exam is conducted for Air Force, Navy and Army. for Air Force and navy you need 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent and for Army you need 12th in any discipline from recognized board or College . you can also apply for the exam while pursuing in 12th.

So from upper it is clear that you can only apply for the posts in Army not in AIr Force and Navy.
