    I am happy to inform you that you can apply for upsc exam after M.B.B.S/M.D.

    Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream fron recginiced university.

    Age limit:-
    For Open category:- 21-30 year
    For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR
    For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year

    Number of Attempts:-
    For open category:- 4 attempts
    For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts

    Dear,
    I am glad to say that yes, you must appear the UPSC examinations after your M.B.B.S degree. you can apply for two examinations i.e., CSAT & CMS which is conducted every year by the UPSC. But you have to keep the attention on your age limit which is within 21-30 years and for OBC it is 3years relaxation or for SC/ST it is 5years. Thank you...& Best of Luck

    combined medical service exam

    besides other criteria should also match to appear for the UPSc

    civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.


    You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
    stream,or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
    7 for an OBC candidate,and
    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

    Actually after MBBS Degree you are eligible for two most popular exams conducted by the UPSC.
    They are
    Combined Medical Services Exam and Civil Services Exam.

    Eligibility for both the exams:
    M.B.B.S. degree for combined medical services exam and any degree from a recognized university for civil services exam.
    Age limits; For CMS Exam- Below 32 years
    For IAS Exam- 21-30 years.

    yes, you can apply for UPSC exam after MBBS.
    you can apply for civil Services, CMS, IFS, CDS etc.

    for UPSCyour age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    Yes you can appear in the exams

    That are conducting by the upsc department

    You can appear in the upsc cms exam

    CMS: Stands for the Common Medical Services Exam

    And upsc department is conducting the exam every year

    For the exam Here is the Criteria:

    ~ The candidate should be pass in MBBS Degree from a recognized Indian university

    ~ The candidate age should not be more than 32


    As you have a mbbs degree so you are eligible for the exam

    So apply for the exam with out any doubt

    It makes me happy to inform you that you are still eligible for the UPSC examinations after MBBS provided that your age is between 21-30 years if you come from general category.


    MBBS stands bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery.




    The eligibility criteria as per UPSC norms are:

    For civil service examination like IAS,IPS etc.

    >>you need to hold bachelor's degree in any stream.

    >>you should be an indian citizen.

    For engineering services:

    >>Bachelor of technology in :

    1.civil engineering

    2.electrical engineering

    3.electrical engineering

    4.mechanical engineering.


    Age criteria for all examinations:

    Yes, you are eligible to appear for the exam.
    Below are the eligibility criteria:

    UPSC requires that the applying candidate be a graduate from any recognized university unger the UGC act.
    A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
    The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the follwing cases:

    SC/ST: upto a maximum of five years.
    BC: upto a maximum of three years.
    State of Jammu & Kashmir: upto a maximum of five years.
    Defence Services personnel : upto a maximum of five years

    -UPSC conducts various exams at the graduates level for candidates where minimum
    qualification is graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University.

    -Some of the UPSC exams at the graduate level you can apply are :

    Combined Medical Services Exam-Eligibility is Age below 32yrs on 1st Januaury of the year of examination and an M.B.B.S. Degree.

    Civil Services Exam-Age between 21-30yrs and graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

    the answer is yes.you can very well appear in the upsc exams.

    you are eligible to apply in civil services exam,combined medical services exam etc.

    the following are the criteria defined by the upsc in its notication:

    civil services:
    the candidate must hold a degree of any ofuniversities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures of indiaor declared to be deemed as university under section 3 of the UGC act 1956.

    combined medical services exam:
    for admission the candidate should have passed in the written and practical parts of the final MBBS exam.

    AGE LIMIT:

    civil services exam:
    A candidate must have attained 21 years and mustnot have attained the age of 30 years as on 1 august in the year of examination

    combined medical services exam:
    maximum age limit is 32 years.

    i have mentioned above about two exams.

    Yes, you are eligible for civil services examination.

    For that exam it does not matter that in which fields you are passing your graduation only it is required that you should be graduate and also you can apply in last year of graduation.

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.

    Attempts :-

    GEN : 4
    BC : 7
    SC/ST : No Limit
