-You can definitely appear for the CIVIL SERVICES exams after completing your BSc in ZOOLOGY.
You could have also appeared for the exams while in your final year.
It is these exams which are carried out for recruitment of candidates into the honorary posts of IAS,IPS,Foreign Services,etc.
- The forms of the CIVIL SERVICES exams are released by First week of FEBRUARY and the last date to apply is about n the first week of March.
- You can apply either ONLINE on the website :: www.upsconline.nic.in !!
You may also apply offline by purchasing the forms from the regional main branch Post Office.
Take care that you apply only once.
-The CIVIL SERVICES exams are conducted in three phases.>> The Preliminary Exams.
>> The Mains Exams.
>> The Interviews.
-The preliminary exams are conducted in May.It is followed by the Mains exams which are conducted in October-November.Only candidates who qualify the preliminary exams proceed to the mains,and those who qualify the Mains proceed to the interviews.
-The COMPLETE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the exams are mentioned below ::
01. NATIONALITY.
You must be a citizen of INDIA,
or,You must be a subject of NEPAL or BHUTAN,
or,You must be a TIBETAN refugee settled permanently in INDIA before 1962.
02. AGE LIMITS.
You must be 21 To 30 years of age.
However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & Ex-servicemen and by 3 years for OBCs and Physically Handicapped.
03. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS.
You must have completed your Graduation or equivalent,from a recognized university with any subject or stream.
Final year students are also applicable.
ONLY PASSING PERCENTAGE IS REQUIRED.
04 NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS.
For OPEN category : 04
For OBC candidates : 07
For SC/ST candidates : UNLIMITED.

The UPSC conducts the CSAT preliminary examination every year. The essential qualification for the CSAT of UPSC is to pass the Bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized university. So as a zoology honours students, if you passed the examination from the recognized University, you must appear for the CSAT examination. The age limit for it is 21-30years. The upper age limit for OBC is 3years and for SC/ST,it is 5years. The number of attempts for general category is 04 and for OBC candidates, it is 07 and for SC/ST, it is upto their last upper age limit. Best of Luck

yes, you can appear for CS exam after completing bsc(honours) in zoology .
Eligibility Criteria:
you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.
your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.
And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

may and the advertisement for the same is released in
the month of february every year once.
But first check your eligibility and age criteria that you are eligible or not.
1. You must be an indian.
2. You must be a graduate from any govt. Recognized university.
And your age must be in between 21-30 years.and the age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years for sc/st and obc
