for appearing upsc exam educational qualification is, that you have to complete your graduation or if you are in your final year ,also you can write,and age criteria you should be between 21-30 yrs 3 yrs relaxation for reservation candidates.all the best

all the candidates who are graduate with a recognized university or appeared in final year are eligible .

so if you are in final year than definitely you are eligible.

this year you can not apply because the exam was held on 20 may 2012 .
next year the notification for civil services examination 2013 will be released in January .and the examination will held in may/June.

But if you are in final year of graduation, you can also appear in the prelims exams but you have to submit the passing proof of your grduation, if you pass the prelims exam and want to appaer in the next stage that is main exam.

Civil Services 2013

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which are as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Combined Defense Services Examination

Indian Military : A bachelor's degree in any discipline and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 24 years

Indian Navy : A Bachelor's degree in engineering in any discipline from a recognized university and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 22 years

Indian Air Force : A bachelor's degree with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and age should not be less than 19 years and more than 23 years

But which you did not mention ??


B.Com 1st year --- Not eligible

B.Com 2nd year --- Not eligible

B.Com 3rd Year --- Eligible


So If you complete B.Com or Final year Pursuing then only you are eligible to apply for it


You must have 21 - 30 years age range
