to appear in the UPSC exams,
the university from which you completed graduation or engineering should be approved from UGC,
so if the kuvempu university is approved from UGC the you are full eligible for the upsc exams,
otherwise you are not eligible,

You can only appear in the exam if your university is certified by UGC.
so you can check that if your university is certified or not then you can apply for UPSC exams..
Since your university is an old one it must be certified so you can check in the brochures about this.

if you completed your graduation from the recognized university and passed with 60% then yes , you can appeared CDS exam.


CDS EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-


you should have to passed graduated with the 60% from the recognized university.

age should be 19 to 23 years.

you must be an Indian.

You can Apply for CDS Exam. if your institute is recognized.

There are clearly mention that candidate should be degree holder from any recognized university.

If your university is not recognized then you can not eligible for this exam.

Please see the eligibility criteria for CDS Exam :-

Age Limit:

1. For IMA : 18-23 years
2. For Indian Naval Academy : 18- 21 years and NCC Naval Wing 'C' Certificate Holder 18-23 years.
3. For Air Force Academy : 18-22 years.
4. For Officers Training Academy : 18-24 years.

Educational Qualification:

1. For IMA and Officer Training Academy : Degree of a recognized university.
2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.SC. with Physics or Mathematics for NCC Entry.
3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering

Those candidate who are studying in the final year degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination are also eligible to apply.

Physical Standard : Candidate must be physical fit according to physical standard.
